2019 Goals

2019 Goals

  1. Get into the best shape of my life.
    • Woah, I know that’s quite the goal but I turn 39 this year so I want to be able to say that I was in the best shape of my life at 39! Plus, once I hit 40… I doubt I’ll be as motivated, haha! When I say the best shape of my life, I mean feel confident in a two piece bathing suit. I want to build more muscle and tone my abs, glutes, arms and legs. I recently joined the FASTer Way to Fat Loss program so I definitely think this is achievable.

  2. Be present.
    • I spend a lot of time on my phone and computer trying to build my blog, wine business and on social media. This year, I want to develop a schedule where I allocate X hours to my passions, X hours to work and X hours to my family. I want to be present because I’ll never get this time back and it goes so fast. I don’t want to look back and have regrets.

  3. Spend more time with my Grandparents.
    • My grandmother is 87 and my grandfather is 89. My grandmother is having a lot of health issues (she’s in the hospital as I type these goals out). I want to get to know them on a more personal level and listen to their stories so I have memories and more to share with my kids about them.

  4. Make more Dallas blogger friends.
    • Attend more blogger events and/or Dallas Blogger Brunches to meet more local bloggers. Blogging can be isolating, intimidating and jealousy/envy can sometimes get to me… so I want to create close relationships with more bloggers to help each-other stay confident or just to have more fun together.

  5. Go somewhere I’ve never been before.
    • I love to travel (especially to warm places) so I want to go somewhere new. My husband just started his own dealership this year so I don’t think we’ll have the time to fly anywhere this year so maybe we can go somewhere I’ve never been before in Texas!

  6. Pray more.
    • I tend to pray only when I want things to improve. I say thank you and give grace to God for all the wonderful things going on in my life but I want to create a more spiritual connection with God. I want to pray regularly and try to pray daily.

  7. Get promoted to Associate Director at Scout & Cellar.
    • I started selling clean-crafted wine in August 2018. I quickly moved up the ranks to Executive Manager. I want to get promoted to AD this year. In order to hit goal #1, I definitely need to continue drinking clean wine (no added sugar). If you want to know more about clean-crafted wine or buy some (to help me hit my goal), click here.
  8. Blog weekly.
    • Last year I focused all my efforts on Instagram. This year, I want to focus my efforts on my blog. I own my blog and if something happens to social media tomorrow… I’d have nothing. Plus, I enjoy blogging so I want to make it a priority this year.

I haven’t physically typed out goals ever in my life so I think 8 is plenty for my first time:)¬†Goal setting is the secret to a compelling future. I wanted to share them with you to help inspire your goals.
