Found my Christmas Eve plaid dress thanks to Every year I try to find something red and festive for the holidays so I’m so thankful for The Mint Julep Boutique for collaborating with me this holiday season.

Every year we go to church on Christmas Eve so I like to dress up. This buffalo plaid dress will be perfect for church. We attend the early service at 5pm so the kids can enjoy the candlelight service with us. I like to dress nice but also feel comfortable and this plaid dress achieves both with a cozy cotton fabric. I love the tie in the front so it gives a more fitted look around the waist.

I also love the color. Red and black buffalo plaid is really trending for the holidays so I love that this look is a more dressy style for plaid. I’m wearing a medium because I figured I could tie the waist tighter if it ran a little big. It runs TTS. So, you should be able to order your true size. However, my plaid dress is currently sold out but you can add it to your wishlist on as they’re always bringing back items by demand!

I’m wearing black sheer tights but I think this plaid dress would also look amazing with faux leather leggings. I may wear leggings on Christmas Eve, pending weather. So, make sure to check my Instagram in a few weeks to see how this plaid dress looks with leggings. Also, sign up for e-mails at and you’ll receive $10 off your first order! They’re offering free shipping all year long too with code: MINT EXPRESS.

Make sure to subscribe to my blog so you’re notified first about weekend sales, giveaways and new blog posts. I’ll be hosting a big giveaway with ShopTheMint next week so stay tuned.

Thanks for shopping by!
